Summary: Great resource for CAPM exam
Comment: I read the official PMBOK guide and it is very abstract without providing many practical application examples. The CAPM guide actually breaks down this information and shows it in a more practial, concrete form. The chapters (minus a couple) have a 15 question review quiz, plus a 150 question exam at the end of the book. This guide is the primary reason I passed the exam (barely) on the first try and is a useful reference tool for real life application.

Comment: Orginized and clear explanations of the subject. It is not not a book for fun reading but its a study book - I try to go thru one knowelege area in one week. Its not that easy for me, requires constant concentration and self control but I have chosen whis way to save money on courses. Going to sign up for the exam soon and will write on my results then.

Summary: Delivers the promises made
Comment: A great companion book for CAPM exam takers. The book made the Project Management principles easy to understand. The online tutorial is very useful as well. I can say I could pass the exam because of the book. A word of caution though: There are few things the book might not have covered and also the actual questions are a little tricky on the exam compared to the one on the book. But overall its a great value for money and takes you very close to passing the exam. Put a little more effort and you will do just great. Good luck.

Summary: The CAPM Exam - How to Pass on Your First Try
Comment: I passed on the first try as the title suggests. Much of the credit is due this book. There was no need for an expensive week long crash course. I am very pleased with the purchase. I think the book might have missed the mark on how much attention to give to the Communications Management process as I scored "Below Proficent" in this area. However, I did well in all of the other areas. Obviously, I would recommend this book.

Summary: MUST BUY BOOK TO PASS CAPM
Comment: This book explain concepts in very lucid way. Questions after the chapters and final exam were very similar to the CAPM exam. Not only tells you your answer is wrong but also explains why it is wrong. I do recomend reading PMBOK guide along with this.
