Summary: More like True Tan instead of "Faux Tan"
Comment: Great tanning lotion! I've tried one other, but this product has it over and above! Good smelling, almost immediate darkening. I had read the recommendations to wear gloves during application...great idea! I use surgical gloves and it goes on smooth and thoroughly! I am recommending it to others who are using a skin damaging tanning booth!! Only a little is needed too! I love it! Will I buy it again when I run out? YES! Excellent product! My only problem is I can't take it in my carry on luggage - too many ounces! A+++++

Comment: I'm not a big self tanner to begin with, but I purchased this product to use as an alternative of sitting out in the sun. While it does give you a VERY natural looking tan, it does come at a price. First, don't apply this in the morning thinking you can just go out about your business an hour later. This stuff is incredibly sticky and also goes on very, very dark. In time it fades to its natural color but that won't happen until the next day, so don't apply this if you have something going on later that night. Secondly, also a plus and a minus, one coat is all you need. No multiple applications are required and I was amazed at how tan my skin was the next day. However, this also comes at a price. Any spots you miss will stand out like night to day. Also, if you don't wash your hands well enough expect to have the dirtiest looking hands imaginable.
Now these might be non issues for some, and I must compliment the product on the fact that it does last a good while. However, my biggest issue was apparent a few days into using it. And that is, "you can't use this if you are male". This is because the first time you shave your face all of the tanner will be scrapped off your face do to the fact that shaving is essentially exfoliating the skin. After shaving you WILL look like a clown.
Its hard to rip too much into this sunless tanner since these issues are apparent in every tanner out there. If you use sunless tanners successfully than I highly recommend this product. If you are new to use tanners I would suggest using a cheaper product first in order to test how well your daily activities will effect the lotion. If you have problems with the cheaper tanners don't expect this more expensive tanner to be any different. Needless to say, after about a month of using this product, trying different variations to keep a good "tan", I gave up and stopped using it.

Comment: I tried this product for the first time today, and I can ALREADY see a huge difference. I have relatively fair skin, so it is really hard to find something that looks natural because I don't really naturally tan. This product is easy to use because it has a tinted color to help you apply it (don't be scared of the initial wierd color). I already look shades darker and it looks completely natural. I was skeptical at first because of the price, but I promise it is worth the money. Just make sure to wash your hands right after you use it... don't want those odd-colored palms :)

Comment: I just bought this and I am SO GLAD I did - I have been using self-tanners for years and this is superior. The "faux tan" is almost better than natural - it doesn't have an orange-y color, the lotion smells wonderful and there are no streaks left behind. It's tinted to help with even application. I really like the bare escentuals line anyway so I wasn't afraid to try another product from them. Well worth the money.
